My father had always worked for a company dealing with motor trades insurance. He hated the job as he found it to be so boring but i could never understand why he never just left the job and got a job that he actually enjoyed doing. I think he only took on the job as his father had been in to the insurance business so i think he felt like he had to go in to that side of business. It was good money but i have never understood why people would work in a job that they don't even like. He did however buy me my very first home from the money he had saved from his job.

Motor trades insurance has always been something that i have never really understood and i have no idea how the whole thing works. I don't know if someone just gets a quote and pays it or if there is a load more stuff to it then just that. If i was to compare my fathers motor trades insurance job to my job as a plumber then i would always tell people to go for the plumbing job.

My father was a plumber before he got in to the motor trades insurance job that he has at the moment and he was always making more money from it but i think he just got a bit bored of doing the same thing all the time. I don't really understand as surely he is doing more of the same thing now then he would have been doing as a plumber. He passed his work place on down to me when he decided to get in to the insurance side of things but to be honest if he ever asked for it back i wouldn't give him the business back but i would share partnership with him.

My mother has always wanted us to have a family run business but I'm not really willing to do that as i have always wanted to do my own thing and be my own boss. I have never been good at answering to other people. If my father wanted the plumbing business back then i would probably just ask for a swap in businesses so that i would then be the owner of his insurance company. Whatever happens i would always make sure that my family were well looked after as they all deserve it for the way that they brought me up and looked after me when i needed them.
