I have a college assignment that I have to get done, it is due in a week. My teacher for computer class assigned each student to a group to get the assignment done. My group has me, Tommy, and Sandra, and we have to look up over 50 life insurance companies that are going out of business. Because of the economy being in a downfall, he wants us to do this project. But the catch is that we aren't looking up over 50 life insurance companies in the United States. We are looking up over 50 life insurance companies in the UK. We have to find these companies, and then determine why they are going out of business. For extra points for this project, we can plan out a strategy of what we can do to keep them from going out of business. Since we already have great scores for this particular class, our group really don't necessarily need the extra points. But I think we are going to do it anyway. We will see if we have enough time in the end to fit it in. If we don't, it's no big deal. That's why I love my group, because we all paid attention since the first day of class, and now we are in a good spot for grades. Some of the other groups have to do the extra work because if they don't, they will fail the class. A lot of them don't have the good grades that we do.

So, back at my home is where we all decided to get the project done. I have a really nice computer system where we can be comfortable looking up over 50 life insurance companies in the uk. My desk space for my computer is quite large and can easily fit 3 people comfortably. I got the desk from my parents as a graduation gift when I graduated high school. They knew that I was going to college, and that I would need the extra space for my work. That was really sweet of them to do that. I think it was the best gift that they have ever given me, besides the gift of love of course. They always knew how important college was for me, so they wanted to do something really nice for me, and get something that I will actually use. And this desk has gotten it's use already, and much more to come.
