What is the first thing you think of when talking about commercial life insurance policies? My first thought is what does life insurance policies consist of and how much are they. I decided to look online and compare some rates. Then I had to figure out what commercial life insurance policies were. When I think of the word commercial I think of an ad on TV or a commercial flight for an airplane.

I do think sometimes life insurance policies are getting over rated. Every time you turn on the TV the first thing you see is a commercial for life insurance policies. I realize some people go overboard with life insurance, but I guess if you have the money to spend on it, go ahead. There is a saying out there that you can be insurance poor by the time of retirement.

I do realize it is a good idea to have life insurance but do you realize how many life insurance policies are out there! If they would keep it down to about 5 or less, you would be able to pick and choose an affordable one.

I myself do not have life insurance, but sometimes I do think about it. I guess my main reason for not getting it is because I am on a fixed income, and realize I just can’t afford it. I see commercials every day saying do you know what the cost of a funeral is these days, and will you have enough to provide for your family when you are gone. I am sorry to say but these life insurances polices really scare me. I do not know the first thing of what to look for, what the cost should be, what do I want for life insurance, and the greatest question is what can I afford.

I know life insurances policies are really expensive, so how do you compare to what you want, to what you really need. You may need something, but the question is can you afford it? To me it is no use having life insurance if you cannot afford to pay for it. I know my limits better than anyone does, so why push life insurance policies all the time!

Well I think I have raised enough questions and some truthful ones so when I talk to an agent these are questions I will be asking him and I do hope to get straight answers from him. I don’t need him responding like you do need this or you do need that, because I will probably just get up and walk away from him.
